Simple answer is “the team”.
There is a real team concept in Siege that many CoD/BF/OW players have hard time grasping. IF you have 3:1 K/D, but never do anything for the rest of the team – you’ll still get to G4 or Plat level, but without a team that sets up a winning chance, you’ll not win many matches.
Yes, if you die leaving your team to be 4v2, they have a greater chance of winning, but at the Plat level and higher – 1 of those enemies can obliterate lower quality players in matter of seconds.
Thus, the gap between players may not be so large once you’re in Plat+ ranking, but to get and stay there you need a team. And that whole team should be Plat+ also in order to progress to diamond (and stay there).
Finally to answer the question in title – guys I like to play with do not like communicating (correctly), or are communicating too much, or not at all, or incorrectly, everyone is right all the time, all in all, a complete clusterFukk of yelling and unhelpful bickering. Much like a large dysfunctional family. Or any bad team you’ve been attached to at work.
I’ll cover the important aspects of team play in siege, but for now – know that I’m happy with my gameplay, and ranking. Nothing wrong with being in the middle of the pack, as long as you’re having fun.
