I want to get this over quickly, thus, I’ll speed up the process.
Find (and open) GameSettings.ini file
That file is in “My Games” folder under Rainbow Six Siege sub. There will be 2 sub folders and it’s in one of them.
Use a proper editor and not windows Notepad. On that note, let me just say that Microsoft COULD have kept text version of EDIT since it had MORE features that notepad junk they still carry around from the 80’s.
I use free (Open Source) Notepad++ x32 ( I use 32 bit version since most of the plugins do not work with x64 version yet) and it can be easily downloaded. This is how it’s done!
Before you open it use your windows explorer to check the attributes on the file, because I think by default it may be read-only. You need to uncheck that box in the file properties.
I would like to note that if at any point you are having hard time following this – you should NOT be doing any of this. Simple as that. I could have made a nice little tutorial with pics and stuff but unless you are able to google properly, you surely should not be doing anything like this.
Finally looking at that GameSettings.ini file
We are concerned with 2 variables within that file, and it is important to understand just how your mouse works in game, and how different game elements adjust your sensitivities in order to utilize them properly.
I’m bored now, so I’ll continue later… (to be edited)
